Jennifer Smith

Jennifer is a consultant with Parsons Brinckerhoff.  She has ten years in experience in both technical and commercial roles within the energy industry within Australia and internationally (Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Great Britain). 

She holds an honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Commerce Degree specialising in finance and economics.

Jennifer’s key career achievements to date include the redesign of project management processes and tools for Alstom Power’s engineering business in Switzerland, the design and roll-out of in-house specific project management training to over 250 engineers at Alstom and successfully leading the technical review (by PB) of South Australian and Queensland electricity distribution businesses for the 2010-15 Australian Energy Regulator price review.

Jennifer sees one of her strengths as the ability to step back and see the bigger picture, a direct result of having both a technical and commercial background. Another ket attrivute is the ability to communicate across all disciplines and levels within an organisatio.
