CSA short courses

Time: Half day (3.5 hours)
Fees: $350 per course (member), $425 per course (subscriber), $495 per course (non-member).

CSA Certificate

You can combine six short courses into one of the following CSA Certificates:

  • Certificate in Governance Practice
  • Certificate in Governance and Risk Management
  • Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits

Time: Within 12 months
Fees: Six required training programs @ $495 per program.

Completing a CSA Certificate entitles you to apply for Certificated membership. To graduate with a CSA Certificate, you must complete and pass the online multiple choice exam for the six short courses required for your Certificate, within the same 12-month period. You are required to enrol in the compulsory Governance Essentials course and then select any five courses from the Elective Course category.

In house training programs are available.

FMC Easy Online Governance

Time: Variable, can be done as a group or by individual directors
Price: POA but in the range of $1,500 for entire board
