Wired for Influence Workshops
Melbourne 2 April | Sydney 4 April
Following on from the popular and successful 2011 series, UGM Consulting and Women on Boards have teamed up again to present another round of one-day influencing workshops in Melbourne and Sydney. The workshops cover important influence-related issues raised in the last year’s workplace survey run by UGM in association with Women On Boards.
Benefits of the influencing workshop
• Understand how your brain is wired for influence from the latest neuroscience research. Leverage these powerful insights to influence others more effectively.
• Develop potent strategies that position you, not only to confidently counter ‘blockers’, but also to boost all your influencing.
• Differentiate between influencing and manipulating, so that you can influence with confidence and without ethical/moral concerns
• Identify key sources of personal influence at work that you’ll harness for success
• Learn how to exercise influence even when you don’t have the formal authority
• Learn how to get a speaking turn in meetings
• Apply a simple formula to make your cases compelling and persuasive
• Use all of the above to elevate your ‘visibility’ and ‘presence
Bring and work on your current influencing challenges and by the end of the day you’ll have many fresh ideas that you will be able to immediately put into action. You’ll benefit from evidence-based and powerful, practical tools that you can use to leverage and exercise influence more effectively.
