ThinkWomen 2010 National Breakfast Series

In 2010 Women on Boards ™ partnered with the Commonwealth Bank to host a national breakfast series and career workshops on gender in the workplace.

More than 900 women and men attended breakfasts in the capital cities across Australia in August and September. Feedback showed that many people were inspired by the practical and specific nature of the speakers and motivated to take different steps towards career goals.

"Really useful information- the take aways were inspiring and provided me with a sense of urgency to go out and do something about my career," (Sydney participant)

"I was impressed by the motivation and positivity during the event.  I was given many paths to improve and assist my career prospects. Working in a male dominated industry I have finally noticed the 'glass ceiling' and 'boys politics' around me." (Brisbane participant)

The breakfast was filmed in Sydney and will soon be available via the UTS Business 21C online magazine.
