Workshop 3: Your CV - how to do yourself justice?
The key purpose of a Board CV is to get an interview. It is a marketing tool – to sell yourself to the Board of an organisation. While many senior executives have an existing CV, it is often old-fashioned and does not include the critical information needed by a Board to make a decision. It usually has to be re-focused, re-written, re-formatted and condensed.
This workshop focuses on how to write an effective Board CV and will cover:
- Strategies for writing a Board CV
- What to include in a Board CV
- Language and layout tips
- The all-important cover letter/email
To get the maximum benefit from this workshop, bring a copy of your existing CV with you.
