Celebrating Women's Leadership

Women on Boards invites you to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Australian Women's Archive Project (AWAP). Established by the National Foundation for Australian Women (NFAW) in 2000, the project aims to build knowledge and recognition of the contribution made by women to Australia.

The celebration address will be given by Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor General of the Commonwealth of  Australia.

This will be followed by several short addresses on leadership from:

  • Senator the Hon. Penny Wong, Minister for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Water
  • Ms Jane Halton PSM, Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing 
  • Baroness Amos, British High Commissioner to Australia

This event is being hosted by the National Foundation for Australian Women and the National Library of Australia.

Cost: $99 for WOB subscribers, $165 for Non-subscribers. The fee covers the cost of  the event and a contribution to the AWAP project.

Guests must be seated by 5.15pm prior to the arrival of the Governor General.
