Women on Boards Art Prize

The Women on Boards Art prize for a female artist exhibiting in any medium is presented in the week of International Women's Day (8 March) each year.

The prize was established by Ruth Medd, Chair of Women on Boards, and Lesley Dimmick, Director of the TAP Gallery in Darlinghurst Sydney to identify and assist emerging female artists to achieve recognition and success.

Nominations open in January each year and two cash prizes are awarded at an event at the Tap Gallery in the week of March 8 each year.

• The winner receives $2,500 courtesy of Women on Boards.
• A encouragement prize of $1,000 is also awarded to an artist showing great promise. In 2012 this has been supported by Jacqui Abbott, Head of Flexibility & Diversity at Allens Arthur Robinson.

To enter for the art prize submit your work to the Tap Gallery at the address below between 12noon and 6pm on weekdays (give them a call first). All works are hung in the Tap Gallery and are for sale.
