Women on Boards fee-based director search service

The Women on Boards (WOB) director search service is offered to boards and search firms seeking directors on the full-range of boards. 

Our up-to-date database of more than 12,000 women are seeking various board roles. More than 60 per cent already have a board position and are seeking additional roles. 

WOB members exhibit board-ready personal qualities of intellectual capacity, interpersonal skills, instinct, interest, integrity and a commitment to contribute. We have many women experienced in:

•     CEO, CFO and CIO roles
•     Communications/media, marketing/sales
•     Business operations, start-ups and BDEs

Director search services

We offer three fee-paying options:

1. Director search

a) The basic director search option provides:

• Access to market strategies
• Options for recruitment
• Development of a recruitment brief
• Advertising and search  
• Qualification of candidates 
• Preparation of candidate lists
• Advice to candidates

b) The full director search option provides:

• the basic offering above
• participation in board interviews
• selection report writing
• reference checking
• debrief of candidates and follow-up.

2. Talent search

• The option provides summary profiles of six to eight emerging female directors.

3. Profile search

• We can provide candidate profiles of six to eight women in response to a specific request.

We also offers a complimentary board vacancies posting service to our network which is sent to more than 12,000 women each week.
